How to Authorize Adhesion Connect in Zapier

Overview

Connecting Adhesion Connect to Zapier allows you to link your Jobber data to 6,000+ apps. Authorization requires an API key from your Adhesion Connect account and takes less than five minutes to complete.

Before you begin

  • You must be on the PRO plan to access the Zapier integration
  • You must have a Zapier account — sign up at zapier.com if you don't have one
  • Your Jobber account must already be connected to Adhesion Connect — see [How to Connect Your Jobber Account]

Steps

  1. Accept the Adhesion Connect invite in Zapier Adhesion Connect is currently a private app in Zapier. Before you can find it, you need to accept an invite. Click here to accept the invite — this only needs to be done once.

  2. Start a new Zap Log in to Zapier and click + Create, then choose Zaps.


  3. Choose how data should flow Decide whether you want Adhesion Connect to act as a Trigger or an Action:

    • Trigger — something happens in Jobber and sends data to another app
    • Action — something happens in another app and updates Jobber

  4. Search for Adhesion Connect In the search bar, type Adhesion Connect. Because you accepted the invite in Step 1, it will appear in the results. Select it. 

  5. Click Sign In Click the Sign In button. Zapier will open a secure popup window prompting you to enter your API key.

  6. Find and copy your API key In a new tab, log in to Adhesion Connect and go to Settings → Connections → Select and View the Connection Details for the Location you are connecting. Copy the API key for the Jobber location you are connecting to Zapier.

  7. Paste your API key and confirm Paste the key into the Zapier popup and click Yes, Continue to Adhesion Connect. Zapier will close the popup — you're now connected.


  8. Finish building your Zap Map your data fields and click Publish. Your automation is now live.

Note on multiple Jobber locations

If you have more than one Jobber location connected to Adhesion Connect, each location has its own API key. Repeat Steps 5–7 for each location you want to connect to Zapier.
